For those of you who love and know your physics, it is said that distance is a vector quantity, well at least that’s what I was taught. Honestly speaking, I was never good with things that had to do with numbers. All the formulas were just so complicated, it was a miracle I passed that subject. Anyway, that’s all water under the bridge, now let me talk about distance as i know it.

From the moment we are born, there is a life journey ahead of us to go through. There is a common saying, it’s not about “how far but how well”. The question is, how can you measure how well you have done when you can’t evaluate your distance? The answer to that question is, you don’t. Yes, there is the argument that life is not quantified. However, taking a look at were we all end up as either a success or a failure, you might agree about both quantity and quality of achievements.

The facts are not always right and self conviction may as well be misleading. Sometimes, I feel I haven’t done enough or I’m not good enough but others have a completely different view. I remember feeling really good about a project but I was embarrassed when presenting it, God! that day was awful.

This is life as we know it and there is a certain level our best can take us. It doesn’t matter when you begin to bloom or at what age you start getting things right. The most important thing is that, at the end of it all, you did your best and can proudly say “I gave my all”. Life’s achievements might be measured by men based on quantity and quality but nothing is more important than being true to yourself.

Life is good when you don’t stress about others progress, there is a certain distance every individual can go. Don’t run on the wrong track. Right now, it is about “how far and how well”.
